What is this?
Choose our battery heat shrink sleeve to add robust electrical insulation and avoid short-circuit and leakage failures in your battery packs. This PVC shrink wrap tubing shields battery cells and wiring joints from moisture, UV light and mechanical impact to lengthen battery life.
Our heat shrinkable PVC sleeves feature strong heatproof, waterproof and anti-corrosion performance for use in tough environments. Multiple color selections support easy wire and battery identification during mass assembly. This Lithium Battery Pack Heat Shrink Wrap shrinks tightly with simple heating; no adhesive required. Cell markings remain visible after shrink.
It has a 2:1 shrink ratio, flat widths 7mm to 625mm, covering single 18650/21700/32650/32700/AA/AAA/LiPo cells and big multi-cell packs. Compatible with LiPO, LiFe, NiMH, NiCd and Li-ion packs. What should I notice?
Use a heat gun for heating. Move the heat gun continuously back and forth so the PVC heat shrink wrap receives even heat and avoids local overheating.
Sizing tip: Flat width ≈ half of battery pack circumference. Choose a size 5–10% larger for easy installation. Use a heat gun for even heating to get a wrinkle-free, tight clear shrink wrap.

FAQ For Heat Shrinkable PVC Sleeves:
Q: How do I select the proper flat width for my battery pack?
A: Calculate flat width by dividing your battery pack’s circumference by two. For a 100mm circumference pack, select ~50mm flat width. We recommend sizing up a little to easily slide the tube over the pack before heating. The ø value for each option shows the tubing’s approximate round inner diameter.
Q: Will this tubing fit LiPO, NiMH, and NiCd battery packs?
A: Absolutely. This PVC heat shrink sleeve is a popular protective wrap for LiPO, NiMH and NiCd RC battery packs.
Q: What heat setting do I need to shrink this PVC tubing?
A: The PVC begins shrinking at 70–90°C (158–194°F). A standard heat gun at low-medium power delivers great results. Keep open flame away; it will burn and stain the PVC surface.
Q: Is this shrink tubing suitable for outdoor or humid locations?
A: When fully shrunk, it provides light moisture resistance for mild outdoor use. It is NOT waterproof and cannot be submerged. For constant wet or marine use, adhesive-lined dual-wall heat shrink tubing is the better option.
Q: What shrink ratio does this battery pack PVC tubing have?
A: It has a 2:1 shrink ratio. When heated, it contracts to around half its original diameter. Shrink performance varies slightly per dimension. Always test on spare tubing before wrapping your battery pack.
Q: What roll lengths are offered?
A: We supply rolls in 1M, 2M, 5M, 10M, 20M, 50M to 200M per roll. Available lengths depend on which flat width you choose.
